If you're anything like me, trying to learn how to garden from books, while informative, can leave you a little overwhelmed. That's why I was so excited to see an Evansville area church hosting free gardening classes.
Three Gardening Classes Offered and Free to Attend
Evansville First Seventh-day Adventist Church, located on the city's west side will be hosting three gardening classes that are free to attend. The classes will take place February 16th, February 23rd, and March 2nd.
Each Free Gardening Class Will Offer an Array of Topics
Each class will offer its own range of topics including how to identify and manage weeds in the garden, how to budget for your garden, understanding the differrent types of seed options, proper planting timing, different gardening methods, and more.
Classes Will Be Taught By a Licensed Plant Nurseryman
The classes will be taught by Roger Burns, a licensed plant nurseryman. Mr. Burns has duel licenses in Indiana and brings more than 60 years of growing experience to the classes.
