Animal overpopulation is a massive problem across the country, including here at home in Indiana. One Southern Indiana rescue is doing its part to make spay and neuter more financially accessible for those in need.

The Homeless Animal Population is Ever Growing

There is no shortage of love for homeless animals, but there may be a shortage of funds. One of the biggest struggles I see from people online is their ability to afford the upfront cost of getting a pet spayed or neutered.

That "Free" Pet Still Comes at a Cost

This is most often the case with animals that they have been given away for free from an unwanted litter as most all animal rescue organizations spay and neuter prior to adopting animals out of their care.

Sometimes The Expense of a Spay or Neuter Can Just Be Too Much

Sometimes it may be a stray someone has taken in, and while they can afford to house and feed that stray, the upfront and expensive cost of a spay and neutermay be out of their budget.
