Yelp Users Say These Are the 3 Best Buffets in Kentucky
Who doesn't love a buffet? Honestly, I'd be really curious to know if that question has an answer. I, for one, cannot imagine taking a gander at a next-level buffet and saying, "Yeah...no." And when you learn about the three best buffets in Kentucky according to Yelp users, I can't imagine you'll turn up your nose at the thought of visiting one of them.
Sirloin Stockade
Here's a name that takes me back. We had a Sirloin Stockade here in Owensboro. It was in Wesleyan Park Plaza and was one of our regular destinations when my family would go out to eat. And yes, we went because of the buffet. The once-popular chain, founded 60 years ago in Oklahoma, is down to one Kentucky location, and it's in Murray. What a sneaky-good college town restaurant.
Anyway, the Sirloin Stockade buffet makes the top three because of reviews like this one...
Jackson H - My brother and I were on vacation and we heard great things about Sirloin Stockade so we absolutely had to try it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The buffet was awesome! Everything I tried was delicious!
Country Cupboard
A Madisonville staple for 36 years, Country Cupboard might be luring customers back time and time again because of a certain feature of the restaurant. It's one of my absolute favorites. It may not seem like a big deal, but when any eatery changes up their menu daily, you have a winner on your hands. Dry erase board = great food?
The menu isn't 100% different from day to day, and that wouldn't make any sense. But it's all good old home cooking, and we know it doesn't get much better than that. Kim D will certainly be coming back for more...
Worth the 10 minute drive from the Western Ky Parkway. As I told my son, we didn't have to wait on ordering. Got there and started eating. All you can eat buffet for $12.99. Yummy country cooking. We were there at 11:30 and everything was hot and fresh. Service was super friendly. The coconut cream pie was exactly what I wanted for dessert.
Fat Jimmy's Pizza
There was a Mr. Gatti's pizza buffet in Bowling Green when I was in college, and we practically lived there. If we'd had a Fat Jimmy's Pizza like they do in Louisville, I'm sure the same story would have played out. But Fat Jimmy's kicks the whole pizza buffet thing up a couple of notches, and that's why it's at the top of the Yelp users' list of favorite Kentucky buffets.
Robyn P - Tonight we took 15 Residents of the Swan Pointe HOA to Fat Jimmy's Pizza. It is a family owned and operated family restaurant. This will be our fourth visit together to eat dinner at Fat Jimmy's Pizza. They offer an All You Can Eat Buffet. You could also order Appetizers, Pizza, Pasta, Oven Baked Subs, Salads, and Breads.
Robyn goes on to praise the efficient staff and the chefs who kept churning out pizzas throughout the evening.
I'm not above driving anywhere for a good buffet, and I have next Monday off. Hmmm...
