Discover The Enchantment Of Christmas At Kentucky Kingdom In Louisville
Christmas has come to Kentucky Kingdom! Following the lead and success of other amusement parks, Louisville, Kentucky's Kentucky Kingdom is now home to a magical Yuletide celebration. Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom officially opens to the public on Friday, November 29th and it promises to immerse park-goers in a 'Winter Wonderland' of holiday delight.
Kentucky Kingdom is this region's second amusement park to launch a holiday-themed event.
WINTERFEST 2024 AT KINGS ISLAND
Kings Island, just north of Cincinnati, Ohio, has hosted its popular WinterFest for years. That particular event gives theme park lovers the chance to experience Kings Island during the holiday season- the lights, the trees, the rides, the thrills and chills. Some of the park's most popular rides, including some of its coasters, are operational during WinterFest.

THE ALL-NEW CHRISTMAS AT KENTUCKY KINGDOM
Kentucky Kingdom is ready to celebrate as well and promises "over 1.5 million lights, over 300 Christmas trees and holiday decor as far as the eye can see." Kentucky theme park enthusiast Shawn Boswell (a season pass holder) was treated to a sneak preview last weekend and captured these photos of Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom.

In addition to the Christmas lights and holiday decorations around the park, Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom is also home to the LARGEST snow tubing hill in the Commonwealth. If you're feeling frisky and brave, you can tube down a 175-foot long hill covered in real snow.
Of course, no Christmas celebration is complete without the chance to visit Santa Claus.
The big guy will be on hand nightly- in Santa's House- for Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom.
Plus, you can also meet Rudolph, the most famous reindeer of all.
