The end of June marked an epic occasion for Kelsey Hart of Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. On Friday, June 28th, the Central City native and rising country music star made his long-awaited debut at The Grand Ole Opry.

There were hundreds of people from western Kentucky in Nashville to watch Kelsey realize a dream come true. Now, he's saving them the drive. He's taking his show home to them.

July's shaping up to be a busy touring month for Kelsey. He has tour dates scheduled in Virginia, Tennessee, West, Indiana and Arkansas. But it's August that's captured the attention of his fans back here in western Kentucky. Kelsey just announced a huge homecoming concert in downtown Central City- in the big parking lot beside Holly J's Grill. The show is set for Saturday, August 17th.

This concert, by the way, is going to be FREE and here's the lineup.

Kelsey says plans are in the works for a fan club party as well. He's working with Stellian's (the local pizza parlor famous for its 8 lb pizzas and Freak Shakes) to have that pre-party there.
