Our pet of the week – SUMMER – is ready to warm your heart all year long! She’s available for adoption at It Takes a Village. Before I tell you anything else about SUMMER, you should know that her adoption fee is fully sponsored (that means she’s FREE)!

This gorgeous 2-year-old Collie mix may have started life as a stray in Daviess County, but she’s left those lonely days behind and is now overflowing with love, energy, and tail wags.

The Perfect Adventure or Snuggle Buddy

SUMMER weighs in at 61 pounds of pure sweetness, and is that perfect combo of playful buddy and cuddle bug. She’s down for an outdoor adventure or a Netflix-and-snuggle night!
